Variation in Creeping Bentgrass Cultivar Responses to Drought Stress

Creeping bentgrass ( Agrostis stolonifera ) is a desirable turfgrass putting green species that susceptible to drought stress. Planting drought-resistant creeping will enhance the resilience of golf turf surfaces, lower required resource inputs, and reduce environmental impact courses. cultivar performance data during stress are needed for informed selection appropriate cultivars. We evaluated 19 cultivars found newer such as Pure Distinction others exhibited superior compared with older Penncross L93 based on quality, photochemical yield, leaf relative water content. The results this work should be used aid in practitioners.
